THE GREAT PUMPKIN
MONDAY, NOVEMBER 23RD
1-4PM
Let your creativity GROW! Campers will paint a surreal oversized pumpkin inspired by Renè Magritte, exploring perspective and warm fall colors, on an 11x14” canvas. Campers will also have the option to explore with clay, hand-building a hot-air balloon on a clay slab OR create their own slime! (The clay project will be fired in our kiln, and we will call you when it is ready to be glazed!)
Follow the hot-air balloons through a week of our Thanksgiving mini-camps on school days off! Campers will explore famous artists through a variety of hands-on art projects, all with a fun fall twist. Keep your eyes on the skies— in each featured painting there is a hidden hot-air balloon to spot as the artistic adventure continues from one project to the next!
